Discovery Trail
The Children’s Discovery Trail was developed as a sequence of interactive zones distributed throughout the Botanical Gardens, encouraging exploration through movement, play, and observation. The trail guided children and families through distinct ecological areas, each highlighting specific natural phenomena. Hands-on elements invited engagement through touch, listening, climbing, and experimentation, transforming the landscape into an open spatial learning environment.
The design was integrated into the garden through natural materials and simple structures, framing moments of discovery while sustaining curiosity and exploration.
Responsibility focused on two areas: a water-oriented zone surrounding a pond and a rocky play area along the trail. The work included spatial design and arrangement of interactive elements, as well as the design of individual play and learning elements, balancing safety, engagement, and integration with the natural environment.
